Valerie Sanjai Irons-Posney
Breathwork Facilitator / Sound Healing Guide, Valerie is dedicated to divine healing through the arts. She is no stranger to forging sacred paths, having founded Bhakti Tribe Sedona in 2010, bringing kirtan to Sedona’s Red Rocks, and then founded Sanjali Healing Arts in 2018, offering sound alchemy, breathwork and mantra.
The benefits of sound, have always resonated with her, leading her to experiment with music. Playing African dejembe drums and striking crystal bowls made a permanent impression on her. But, it was experiencing the Soundwave Bed (now in Aumbase) that first struck a chord with Valerie to dive more deeply into the world of sound therapy. The bed is a high-vibe device and an instrument that fine tunes the human body, discording tension, blockages and stress from the body.
In an expression of honoring the divine with her voice and her heart, Valerie began to lead kirtan, then produced a kirtan album, which is available on Amazon, online at sanjali.bandcamp.com and in the yoga studio. She now offers kirtan at the studio on a monthly basis to connect people to Source via life-changing group experiences.
As a Shamanic Breathwork practitioner, she believes breathwork is the most potent form of transformation. Giving breathwork her own vibe, she incorporates sound alchemy into her sessions, as the icing on the cake.

“My name is Ako Sakai. I am from Japan but now living here in Sedona. I am an expecting mother at 27 weeks. A friend gifted me a Sound Healing session with Valerie. I did not know what to expect at all and had never had a sound healing before.

Cancer Support Sessions
Having been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022, Valerie understands first-hand the healing journey that goes along with cancer. With Daniel’s decade of experience working with cancer patients and Valerie’s direct knowledge of the cancer journey itself, they have created the Cancer Support Sessions, monthly in-person support for those on this healing path.
As well as offering monthly sound healing, emotional healing and breathwork group sessions, they will gather outstanding presenters to offer or speak about various modalities of healing and the latest innovations in technology.
1st Wednesdays 11am – 12pm
Sound Healing with Valerie ($25) takes you on a journey of sound and vibration using voice (singing and toning), crystal & Tibetan bowls, Native American flute, gongs, chimes, drums and so much more! You meet by phone or Zoom, once a week, three weeks per month, for 1.5-2.0 hours each time. Your rate is discounted 20%-50% from the hourly, Zoom (remote) rate. The 4th week of the month is a “rest” week and can be used for rescheduling or emergency calls and as-needed breathwork sessions.
You will have full access to Daniel Posney’s “Way of Malamalama” self-paced, online content (self-discovery, personal development, emotional health, relationship dynamics, energy, spirituality, meta-physics, psychology…etc.).
Accountability exercises and tasks match your determined goals and desires. The metrics you create will track your success and progress, as you evolve and grow through the process. Breathwork & Sound Journey Description
An event which includes both Breathwork and Sound Journey will begin with a specific breathing practice called breathwork. Breathwork is a journey where participants lay down and engage in fast, deep breathing which takes them into altered states of consciousness. These states give participants the direct experience of pure energy and divine grace. The journey is accompanied with evocative music and unique live instruments such as didgeridoo, drums and other percussion instruments.
Next, participants continue to lay down to receive a journey into sound and vibration. The sound journey is a beautiful immersive and transformative experience, which recalibrates the inner frequency and vibration of the individual and also helps to integrate the breathwork.
